I'm lame. I've been totally ignoring this blog for so many days now. Well its only because of two reasons:
1. I am tired of having to blog about constant depressing and annoying stuff happening, it will just turn my blog into a dumpsite of incoherent and nonsense rants.
2. I have been trying to make use of my time. Translation: I am trying to get a life. Haha. I've spent the past month doing nothing - just sleeping, waking up late, staying up late, messing up my body clock, putting off a lot of things that need to be done just because I'm too lazy. So yeah, starting this April, its time for me to get things done and fix my life. Lol.
I am leaving for Taiwan in a few days, so that means very limited internet time. I will blog about random snippets from my trip while I'm there if I have the time. There's internet in our hotel room so yay! But I'll be out the whole day and will need lots of sleep for energy to go around the country, so I'll only be online for a short while before I sleep, I guess. I will miss the crazy chats and Twitter! :(
But I am very excited for my trip! As always! I love traveling around, whether locally or abroad. I'm going with my family, so yaaaay I have my mom to pay for my shopping. Yes I am spoiled. I do not pay for my shopping expenses. If I have to, it is very minimal. So yay, more savings for me! Haha. :p And I'm also very excited to take photos! I love taking photos, especially of beautiful places and sights. Can't wait! :)

In a pathetic attempt to cheer myself up, I will blog about random things.
Since I lost my iPod video, Frangipani, a month ago, I have been thinking about which iPod to get to replace it. I was thinking of getting the iPhone, but I decided I didn't want it really, I wanted a normal phone and a separate iPod for all the music and such. The iPhone only has 16gb worthb of storage space and that is too little for both my phone and music files.
So I was choosing between the iPod classic (80gb), which had way more storage space but same old features, or the iTouch (16gb), which had less storage space, but way more fun features. And the price, well, of course the iTouch costs more than the classic one. I didn't really want to splurge out a lot of money for this because I'm also going to replace my old camera. But then my dad is such a savior, and as a reward for me being in the Dean's List, he got me the 32gb iTouch.
I will take an actual pic of the new baby if I'm not lazy. Anyway, his name is... Josue. Yes, I've decided to stick with it. I think. I've been having issues with choosing the name because I like Ruano too. It sounds so pretty. But I'm faithful like that, so Josue it is...I can change it any time anyway.

It's only on goal.com, its not as hyped up as Veeyah's and I haven't seen it anywhere, but its been going on for so long already, and considering the state of the club right now, there's more of a possibility that it will happen...
But no. Please, not to Italy. Not elsewhere.
Ok, objectively speaking, Veeyah is the one who shouldn't be sold. The team needs him, no scrap that, the team is dead without him. And if there's anyone who could be sold other than him, then he should stay. But I'm talking about Silva here... I'm not saying that he should stay over Villa. I'm saying that both of them shouldn't be sold, period.
Honestly, transfer news about Silva is breaking my heart more, because aside from the fact that he is my first love, he started my love for Valencia. It doesn't mean that it's only him I care about. Yes, he is the reason why I started following and supporting them, but everything and everyone just grew on me after that. When I started supporting the club, they were already starting to fall into troubles. And given that, I didn't care and still supported them. But no matter how fail they are right now and how much worse they could be, I'm still sticking around. Even if Silva leaves, I'm staying. Because I love them too much as a whole team and not just him. And having the club is what matters most.
If ever Silva does leave, I will still follow him. But only him, only David Josue Jimenez Silva, and not the club he will be playing for. Unless its United or Pool, lol. But no, please, just no. He is staying at Valencia. I am offering prayers for him and Veeyah. Please, just let them stay :(
Its not my fault that I'm so affected by this. I love him, that's why. I cannot imagine him playing elsewhere, I cannot imagine him wearing other colors. Its only black white and Valencia orange. Writing Prompt 1
I remembered my best friend telling me about this site that generated writing prompts for one to get started on writing. It is on this site. Well I decided to give it a shot, and this is what I chose:
"How long until you realized you had no talent or patience for this? Tell the story (true or fiction) of trying to learn a new talent or hobby that you only pursued briefly."
Ok, when I was a kid, I pretty much wanted to try all sorts of things. Of course, there was ballet. I started dancing when I was 4 1/2 years old and haven't stopped since. And my love for ballet branched out to exploring different kinds and forms of dances too. So yeah, dancing is the only talent or hobby that stuck to me all these years.
But since I did want to try other hobbies, I enrolled in a lot of classes. I had piano lessons roughly the same time when I started dancing ballet. But when I turned 6 or 7, we moved into a different city, and it was too much of a bother for me to go to my music school, as well as my ballet school. I decided not to look for another music school and instead found a ballet school. I never went back to my piano lessons ever since.
When I was around 8 or 9, I wanted to learn how to sing. So I enrolled in voice lessons, haha! But I had no patience for it too, I quickly became bored of having to stand up and sing scales and whatnot for a couple of hours a day. So after my summer session, I stopped attending lessons.
In high school, I wanted to learn how to play the guitar. So again, I enrolled in a music school. But again, I didn't last, I just finished the lessons for the entire session and never went back. And I completely forgot everything I learned there. Now my poor guitar is tucked away in my room and I haven't touched it in years.
I think it doesn't help too that dancing takes up so much of my time. All the rehearsals, classes, shows, recitals and such. *shrugs*
I think that's pretty much about it. Bottom line is, I've been trying to pursue a lot of other hobbies but its only dancing that I stuck to. :)

Who's watching you?
I've seen this movie twice now. The first time I watched it was with the bf. We didn't really plan on watching it but we just spontaneously went to the theatres and decided there. Both of us didn't read the graphic novel, fyi. So we both found the movie so long and dragging (it went on for over 3 hours). It didn't help too that I was so sleepy that time. It took a long time for me to digest everything and had the bf explain some parts to me. I wasn't satisfied though, and I just had to watch it again.
So I dragged my brother (and our mom came along too) to watch it again. The second time I watched, it was just AMAZING. I was literally on the edges of my seat, and I understood it completely. It was just... AMAZING! The story, the characters, the plot, the way everything fell into place. I'm still in awe right now.
I love the way the fight scenes were choreographed. They were brilliant! The one with The Comedian being attacked, oooh that was so amazing. I loved the irony of it all, Unforgettable playing in the background while The Comedian was being beat up to death. And the one where Laurie and Dan broke into jail. So effing amazing! Fight scenes are really violent and gruesome and brutal, but whoever did the choreography on this movie is pure brilliance. I've never seen so much grace and fluidity in the choreography.
My brother was asking me who my favorite character was. I couldn't give him an answer. They're so different, so complex, so conflicted, but so intelligent and amazing. I love them!
I'm looking for the GN now, but I couldn't find it in the bookstores cos they sold out. Pft, cos of the movie hype, I suppose. Oh well. I've downloaded the GN from a torrent and I'm currently reading it, but I still want the real thing. I hate having to read from my laptop.

I'm not usually vocal on footy matters, since I don't like talking about it in technical terms. I am not a good sports writer, and there are many out there who write really well about the matches and the teams, and I'm afraid of making mistakes on the commentaries, hehe. But this isn't about the matches, this is about one of the causes of the heartbreaks that we Valencia fans are experiencing right now.
And no, its not about my bb Silva, if you were expecting him. Its actually surprising that the first ever footy player I'm going to blog about is...

I actually voted for Kaka and not Iker. (Ok, throw eggs at me now.) I can't help it, Kaka is one of my heroes. As for the rest, I voted for the Spanish boys. Xabi, Nando, Veeyah and Albiol! Ah, they are love. Though I am finding Pato quite cute. :)
Spain B v Germany:
Raul. Cesc. Bojan. SILVA. ♥ This is my favoritest team evarr. Of course I am a bit biased cos of Silva being in it. But really, Raul is there. And Bojan. And Cesc (even if I don't like him anymore). Notice how I didn't include The Ramos? Hehe. I dunno, there are only certain times when I find him hot. Scrap that, the only time I find him hot is when he's on the pitch. Off it, bleaugh. I voted for him though, as a sign of support to Spain! Lol.

I really do not find the French appealing. I don't know why. So yeah, I did vote for the ROW guys. But I voted for Flamini, hehe. I can't believe Dagger lost to Lashes! I really don't find Lashes appealing! Grr. Oh well. Roque! ♥

Becks, check. Theo (guh), check. Lamps, check. Stevie, check. The only Italian who won my vote was Maldini. I'm not really following this faceoff.

ROW v England: I don't really care that much, but I think I'd like ROW to win this. I'm going to be cheering for Roque and Dagger. Wee!

Meet Frank.
This is Frank. He is my adopted baby. He is a Canon 450D Rebel XSi. I adopted him because Xabi, my Nikon CoolPix s550 camera was stolen from me. I am still very heartbroken by that loss. :( But Frank is a very, very good boy. He takes so many beautiful photos. I love him, but its impossible to take pictures of myself with these SLRs. I miss Xabi :(
I did not name him Frank. My mother decided with the name, since she has a huge crush on Lampsy. I just adopted him, he isn't really all mine. And if he were really mine I wouldn't go naming him Frank anyway. Lol. I named the lost camera Xabi because it was sooo like him - so cool, so elegant, so beautiful. Gah, I miss that freaking camera so much. He was only a month old when he got stolen from me. *sigh*
And yes, I name my things. Not all though, only my gadgets. And my car.

I received a lovely surprise last Thursday night. When my dad got home, he told me that my cousin asked him to give something to me. When he handed it over, I squealed. It was a photo of Andy Murray, taken by my cousin's parents when they were watching him at the US Open. Squee. Squee. Squeeeee. :)
Muzz isn't really my top tennis player, it's actually Rafa! ♥ But the cousin 'converted' me, made me into a Muzz fan too. But Rafa is still number one for me.

Excessive fangirling is not good for your health. One will experience weakening of the knees (which does not help at all since I already have very weak knees), quickening of the heart that may lead to palpitation and hyperventilation (so not helping with my asthma), uncontrollable spilling of drool caused by overactive saliva glands (er, yeah), and the unsatiable urgency to plaster your head on and lick the screen.
Bah, who cares.

I found out yesterday that I'm not completely free from uni, after all. I still have to get this clearance form sorted out. I also have to go to this stupid guidance interview which I firmly find completely useless and a good waste of my time. I also have to go to this freaking seminar later today for all the seniors, which is another complete waste of my 4 hours. 4 freaking hours. Gah.
Oh and the best thing? My professor from my other course, Cultural Heritage, just told me yesterday that I still need to do a presentation of my dissertation.

I am laughing because she is crazy. I mean, I pretty much fangirl a lot like crazy (and I mean A LOT), but there is no way I will be able to pull this off. Not that I don't want to kiss Dahveed and make out with BB Silva, I do. But not this way! This girl made me feel as if I was normal. Hehehe.

I've got mixed reactions to this. I've been a Chris Brown fan for so long. I admire him for his clean image, his voice, his songs, and most especially his dance skills. But this whole drama made me rethink about this.
I feel so sad for Rihanna, and so angry at CB. I'm not that much of fan of Rihanna, but no man has the right to beat up any woman! I was so sad for them, more for Rihanna. They were such a good couple, so in love, so cute, so... perfect. It was really heartbreaking, this whole incident.
But now they've reconciled. They're back together! Jeez, are you insane, Rihanna? After what he's done to you, you still find strength to go back to him? Seriously. Come on.
But who are we to judge, right? Love makes us do silly and stupid things. Oh well. I can only pray that Chris Brown learns from his mistakes and never hurt her again.
Beach Weekend
Since last week, my fave aunt and her family (all are living in Rancho Cucamonga, LA) went here for a visit. I'm really glad they are here and I'm having so much fun with them. Last week, we stayed at the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel for 4 days. I love it there, its one of my fave hotels here in Metro Manila. It was a bit of bad timing though, cos I had to study for my finals while vacationing. But still, I had loads of fun!
So now we're in Subic, a place north of Manila. It's a pretty okay place, but lets just say that this isn't my favorite. But since everyone wanted to go to the beach, and we didn't have time drive to or to fly to other farther islands, we settled for this. I've got no complaints though, and everyone is happy! We're staying at Playa Papagayo, a very cute, rustic beach inn. Reminds me of the beach inns and hotels we stayed in while we were in Palawan. Our room is very cute:

We're staying overnight. I went for a swim this afternoon but again the sun and my skin are not best friends. They hate each other like hell. Which sucks for me cos I always love getting those tans! I only end up with either red, or half a shade darker, or a shade darker at the most, if I'm lucky. So tomorrow later I'm planning to stay under the sun for at least 3 hours just to get a decent tan.
Didn't realize its almost 3am now. Really have to get to bed.
