Real Mierda can take the piss.

I am still so pissed and so bitter about last night, we really didn't deserve to lose. I needed to waffle. So if you do not want to read through this, or if you are some Madridista who easily gets offended, I've warned you. Do not click on this post.

ALERT! ALERT!

Note: I haven't rewatched the game, and only watched the highlights to refresh my mind a bit, so these are the thoughts I have on top of my head. I may have not noticed some things, or saw some things wrongly, if I'm not too busy I shall rewatch the game and maybe edit this.

THE DEFENCE. You fail. I just mentioned a few days ago that Navarro was one of the more reliable ones. But this time, he failed so bad (as well as last week, but that was mostly the ref's fault). That header, he should've made it, it was so easy. I cannot believe how he missed it Ugh. Bruno, idek why he's Unai's first choice. He's been making ridiculous decisions and has already cost us two games. I'd rather have Miguel in there. But then I think Unai is punishing/giving Miguel a lesson on discipline, with his attitude and always being late for training. Dealbert made decent clearances but wasn't his usual self. However, he and Matheiu did a decent job imo. Matheiu contributed to the attacking as usual, adding an added threat along with the forwards. Most importantly, he was the one responsible for setting up Quino's goal. (Sidenote: poor guy picked up a knock during the game and now we will miss him for the Europa League game against Genoa and possibly the final La Liga game too for the year against Depor).

Cesar wasn't his usual amazing self, but you can't solely blame the guy. A keeper can only do his job well if the defence helps him out. The defence, however, was absent. In Higuain's first goal, Cesar couldn't do much about it as he was guarding the opposite corner where Pepe was threatening to score. The defence was scrambling, they left Higuain unmarked and left him to head the ball in the right corner. In his second goal, it was a defensive fail foremost, but I think Cesar should've made a better effort in saving the ball. But Gonzo - I have to hand it to the guy, he was on fire during the match. As for Garay's goal, it was a lucky shot for him. He wasn't even looking, his back and head was turned against the goal and he just nodded the ball towards the far corner of the net. Too bad Cesar couldn't have stretched some more to save it.

Pablo and Mata weren't bursting out to create scoring chances. Pablo had a few chances but failed to make the net. His set pieces and crosses were not up to his usual best. Mata played a bit better than Pablo, finding more chances to score but he couldn't find the net too. His shots were poor. Marchena and Albelda weren't so much effective as the previous matches. However, it was too chaotic in the midfield, too many tackling and shoving and pushing and hurting. I am not biased when I say that those RM twats were giving the Valencianistas a beating of their lives with their hard tackles and fouls. I'm looking at you, Sergio Ramos and Lass. The fucking ref, like all other refs, want their beloved Madrid to win so much, so as usual, we got screwed. How many terrible tackles did he let pass by? And how many fouls did he let go off without giving cards? I think Lass deserved a second yellow and should've been thrown out of the game. Sergio's tackle on Marchena was really bad and I am disgusted at him. Ugh, I am utterly disgusted at them.

Ever was really amazing. He kept on fighting for the ball and trying so hard to keep it in their possession even if those big RM meanies kept on bullying him. He kept on bursting through the RM players and provided the creativity they needed. He was most impressive when he darted through two RM defenders, dragged back the ball with his heel and tried to shoot. It would've been more amazing if the ball went in, but it was still amazing nonetheless. He's been very impressive and is one of the most consistent players in the squad, always giving his best in every game and proving why he deserves to be in the first team.

Dahveed was also there to provide his usual goalscoring skills, he made a beautiful header. A really beautiful one. However I thought that he was playing a quite off game. He would've scored more goals if he was playing his usual. Anyway, even if he was playing an off game, he scored, so it's good. And everyone has an off game every once in a while.

Also, I thought Unai would've started Joaquin. I was quite surprised when I learned he wasn't starting. He really should have. When he put him on, he made an instant impact, and scored us a goal which saved our asses off for a few minutes. If he started together with Pablo, the attack would've been quicker and would've posed a more dangerous threat. Quino has been great in the past few matches, he deserves more chances to start.

Oh well, what's happened has happened, and we could only learn from our mistakes. I refuse to say that the better team won, because they are not better than Valencia. Luckier, maybe, but not better. Valencia didn't deserve to lose and they put up a good fight. I am still so proud of my boys and I have nothing else but so much pride and love for them.

Also, I would just like to react to a stupid brainless 'fan' who made this comment which I happened to read through while scrolling through The Offside Valencia blog:
"why didn’t we played with moya against real madrid??? all of us know well that cesar is madridista, he give the match to real madrid. valencia must sack cesar now, i hate this motherfucker for now on. FUCK YOU CESAR"

Um, can somebody hand me a gun so I can shoot this idiot? Seriously, MOYA?! You wanted Moya in goal for the RM match? Did you want use to lose by 5, no wait, even more, goals? The idiocy! Cesar belongs to Valencia now. He loves Valencia. How many times has he saved our asses when the defence f's up?! He's amazing. He's so amazing that he has the ability to make us want his babies. Sack Cesar? Oh God, if that happens, I might as well jump off a cliff... Dude, you need to get your head checked or something. It's the defence we have a problem with, not him. Cesar can only do so much. And pretty much most of the time, it's him who saves us when the games are not going right. We were just really unlucky this time. You fuck off.

On a last note, because I cannot not mention him here. Albi. Oh God. The moment you walked out on the pitch, I was in pieces. At kickoff, and for the whole 90 minutes and some, you were the enemy. But after the game, when I saw your face... *sighs* You need to come home. Valencia is your home. You don't belong in Madrid. You are a true Valencianista and you best not let Madrid stain you. We will still welcome you with open arms. We still love you, and we always will. Come home, bb. Come home. We'll be waiting.

My poor baby.

I should be bothered by his pain but his face is just orgasmic

So everybody and their cat already knows that my bb Silva is out for a month due to a grade 2 sprain on his LCL and a strain on his ACL. Meaning he will miss the rest of the games for 2009, including RM (which, for me, is a good thing because that's one less heartbreak, I don't want to see Albi against him). When I saw him go down during the game, oh god, I couldn't even... I just prayed he was ok, and seeing as he went back on the pitch after he got checked over by the physios and stuff, I thought it wasn't so serious. But then my fear was confirmed when moments later, Unai subbed him and Quino went on. Again, I hoped it was only for precaution and nothing really serious, but after the game I went crazy worrying and panicking when I read from Superdeporte that he left the Mestalla in crutches. So yeah, bottom line is, he's injured, and he'll be out for a month. He'll be missing the games against Lille, Bilbao, RM, Genoa and Depor for December. Hopefully he'll be fit by January.

I am seriously sad and frustrated. Poor guy just wants to play, but all he gets are bad tackles and the ref screwing him up, and now he's injured himself. *sighs* And he should've scored too if not for that unfortunate incident.

What does this mean for Valencia? They'll miss their left winger, his creativity, passes, playmaking and all. I know we have enough cover - Ever or Joaquin can play in his position, or even Jordi Alba, or Unai with his unconventional tactics can even surprise us all with something. And there's still Pablo and Mata. But still, and bias aside, the game changes without Silva. When Quino went on for him, it kind of went... down. His passes and vision are vital to the team. But then, we can manage without him I guess. I hope.

But not if Dahveed manages to screw up again. Mr. Temperamental Bitchface should really learn how to manage his temper. How many unnecessary yellows has he got already? Kicking someone's crotch, knocking the ball out of the keeper's hand and having a go at him, etc... I understand your frustration, Mr. Veeyah, but seriously, you have to learn to control your antics. Another yellow and you'll be suspended. Valencia cannot afford to lose Silva AND you at the same time. And while I'm at it, I am still annoyed at your selfishness. I know that being a striker, you can't help being selfish as you want to score goals for the team, and you want to win the Pichichi and all that... But can't you at least afford to let your other teammates score? They are very capable of scoring goals too, you know. Silva already headed the ball in. It was clearly going in. No defenders in that area, the keeper was in the other corner of the goal, it was all clear. But no, you still decided to flick the ball with your toe, which rendered the goal unallowed because you were offside. If that goal was counted, we should've won, but no, it cost us the game, together with Bruno's utter stupidity in giving away that PK (which I am more annoyed at). I have nothing against Dahveed, in fact, he is one of my favourite players. He's the best striker in the world and he totally deserves to be in the Ballon d'Or shortlist (which the twin has done a very good entry on btw, click here) these antics of his have got to stop before it causes us even more damage.

And since this post is turning into a full blown rant... The boys' finishing was way off. There were so many chances created. Quino and Mata should've scored. Quino's attempt from such an amazing play would've been such an amazing goal but it hit the stupid post. And Mata, idk why he can't make those balls go in. I'm sure there were several chances where he should've easily made the ball go in. Also, here we go with the Unai decisions. I really do not get this man. Most of the time, he starts out fine, his lineups work well, his plays work well. And then suddenly, he makes these substitutions. Like before - Maduro for Ever. And then most recently, in last Saturday's game, Alexis went on for Pablo. I mean, I get it, put another defender on to try to protect the lead. But that doesn't work well every time. Seriously, Unai, you took out Pablo on the event that we're only up by 1? And then the disaster happens, Bruno fucks up, concedes the PK, and Mallorca equalises. Without Silva AND Pablo, then there's really no one creating and holding the plays. No entiendo. *shakes her head* You put Ziggy on, but then he fucks up too. It was a dive, from what I've seen. But it could've been not, I may be wrong. What I'm saying is, if he hadn't subbed Pablo, there could've been someone creating a play and we could've created a better chance at scoring another goal. Bleaugh, whatever, the game clearly didn't go our way. And I give up trying to understand Unai.

We should've gotten the full three points and went ahead of Sevilla, as well as pulled the gap between RM and us closer, but thankfully Sevilla fucked up and only got a point. So considerably, it's not too bad.

Valencia's next game is tomorrow vs Lille for the Europa League. Please, Lord, help the boys do well. I am forever grateful for all the help you have been giving them. Thank you.

Whirlwind

So right now I still haven't come to terms with accepting reality and fate. Last night I was so numb, so cold, I didn't have the energy to express what I really felt. And then this morning, it began to sink in. I've been in a huge sulk all day and I snap at the littlest things. I'm too heartbroken. I want to stop caring, I want to quit them, I want to hate them. But I can't. I love Valencia too much.

This morning, Ali was telling me that I at least had one team who isn't fail. True that, I'm happy with United. But it's not the same, and it will never console me. I want my Valencia to be okay, to be whole. I want the team I fell in love with. Argh. But seeing them fail in the most important matches really makes me want to hate them. They can fight and even win against big clubs - hello Barca and RM. But when the games are so important, what happens? They don't even try. But still, I love them so much.

So not being in the CL next year means goodbye to a lot of players. I'm slowly accepting the fact that they will leave. I don't want to see any of them in RM or in Barca. I just wish they'd go to a club where they can play their full potential and not waste their great talent away. They deserve so much better. There's still this part of me that continues to hope that they will stay, but...

And tonight, this little comment I found from vcf_fangirls just made me burst into tears again.

"I just have to say 1 more thing.
No matter what happens.
No matter who transfers.
No CL, thats fine.
No matter how poor we're going to be.
No matter what we're wearing next season.
No matter how many ref's hate us.
No matter how much fans will doubt us.
No matter anything.
I will always love...
Valencia Club de Fútbol.
I don't care.
Amunt."

Yeah. Despite all the hurt and the heartbreak, I love you, Valencia. I really do.

EDIT// This article made me cry all over again. The songs are so perfect and so right. *sigh*

Oh, life.

Sometimes I wish real life didn't exist and be stuck in my dreams forever. Sadly, that will never happen.

So, Josue decided to play with my feelings and he suddenly played this song. Great, pile on the guilt please.

***

Somebody's Me -Enrique Iglesias

You
Do you remember me like I remember you
Do you spend your life going back in your mind to the time

Coz I
I walk the streets alone I hear people my own
and everyone can see that I real fair and I'm going for her
thinking about you was somebody else

Somebody wants you
Somebody needs you
Somebody dreams about you every single night
Somebody can't breathe without you it's lonely
Somebody holds I won't think you will see
That somebody's me
That somebody's me

How
How did we go wrong
It was so good and now it's gone
Then I pray at night
that our passing will cross
what we had is a lost
Coz you're always you're here in my lost

Somebody wants you
Somebody needs you
Somebody dreams about you every single night
Somebody can't breathe without you it's lonely
Somebody holds at someday you will see
That somebody's me oh yeah

You'll always be in my life
Even if I'm not in your life
It's in my memory

Now when you remember me
And before you set me free
Oh listen please

Somebody wants you
Somebody needs you
Somebody dreams about you every single night
Somebody can't breathe without you it's lonely
Somebody holds that someday you will see
That somebody's me

Goodbye, world.

I just annoyed myself by going over here earlier today. But I thought, heck, its just goal.com, so meh. But apparently, ITS EVERYWHERE. And my world just crumbled.

I don't know. I just don't know anymore. I've had enough of this, please stop :(

I don't want Juve. Stay in Valencia. Don't go anywhere. :(

And there's more...

NO. No no no no no no no no no...

It's only on goal.com, its not as hyped up as Veeyah's and I haven't seen it anywhere, but its been going on for so long already, and considering the state of the club right now, there's more of a possibility that it will happen...

But no. Please, not to Italy. Not elsewhere.

Ok, objectively speaking, Veeyah is the one who shouldn't be sold. The team needs him, no scrap that, the team is dead without him. And if there's anyone who could be sold other than him, then he should stay. But I'm talking about Silva here... I'm not saying that he should stay over Villa. I'm saying that both of them shouldn't be sold, period.

Honestly, transfer news about Silva is breaking my heart more, because aside from the fact that he is my first love, he started my love for Valencia. It doesn't mean that it's only him I care about. Yes, he is the reason why I started following and supporting them, but everything and everyone just grew on me after that. When I started supporting the club, they were already starting to fall into troubles. And given that, I didn't care and still supported them. But no matter how fail they are right now and how much worse they could be, I'm still sticking around. Even if Silva leaves, I'm staying. Because I love them too much as a whole team and not just him. And having the club is what matters most.

If ever Silva does leave, I will still follow him. But only him, only David Josue Jimenez Silva, and not the club he will be playing for. Unless its United or Pool, lol. But no, please, just no. He is staying at Valencia. I am offering prayers for him and Veeyah. Please, just let them stay :(

Its not my fault that I'm so affected by this. I love him, that's why. I cannot imagine him playing elsewhere, I cannot imagine him wearing other colors. Its only black white and Valencia orange. I still haven't come to terms with accepting this, its way too hard. So please, no... Enough of tearing up my heart.

Breathe!

I'm not usually vocal on footy matters, since I don't like talking about it in technical terms. I am not a good sports writer, and there are many out there who write really well about the matches and the teams, and I'm afraid of making mistakes on the commentaries, hehe. But this isn't about the matches, this is about one of the causes of the heartbreaks that we Valencia fans are experiencing right now.

And no, its not about my bb Silva, if you were expecting him. Its actually surprising that the first ever footy player I'm going to blog about is...

This is old, but... *shrugs*

From Goal.com

Vicente Rodriguez (Valencia)

Finally we reach a player who, while fit enough to play, still has yet to return to his glorious earlier form.

(Yet to return, huh? He is actually back to his old form. He's just not being given a chance to play! AHEM UNAI AHEM!)

Known only as Vicente, this ambitious midfielder was one of the top talents of his day - but that day was just a few short years ago. The 27-year-old, who cut his teeth at Levante, moved to Valencia at the turn of the century and swiftly helped guide the Che to an historic Liga title.

Another soon followed in 2003-04, where Vicente's wing play helped propel the Mestalla side not just to the league, but also the UEFA Cup final victory over Marseille.

But from then on injuries were to take their toll, and so low did his morale fall that, resigned to more months on the treatment table, Vicente publicly condemned the Valencia club doctors for their part in his failure to recover.

(Ok, I do not know about this so I will not comment.)

He eventually did manage to make a playing comeback, but no longer is he the wizard of the wing: instead, he's generally a substitute.

(HE IS STILL A WIZARD! Have you seen him play? It's pure magic! He comes in and everything changes! UNAI JUST DOESN'T WANT HIM TO START AND THAT IS UTTERLY BULL.)

Will he ever return to the legendary status that once seemed to be made for him?

(HE EFFING WILL, JUST LET HIM START EVERY GAME, FFS!!! AGAIN, AHEM UNAI AHEM!!!)

Phew. There, I just let it out. I've been repeating this every single day (others have too) and no matter how many times I rant about this, the outrage never lessens. *sigh*

And to pay attention to my bb Silva, I hope your injuries are on their way to a fast recovery. I will miss seeing you play. I will miss you so effing much if you don't get back to fitness right away! You have me as your nurse, so, everything is well. Teehee :)
