So this song was supposed to be included in the Valencia playlist, but the site I used didn't have this track. This is one of my fave songs ever, sang by a Filipino band called Parokya ni Edgar. It's called One and Only You. Here are the lyrics:

The lines in bold pretty much explain my relationship with Valencia. I fell in love, but my heart gets smashed by the hurt and the heartbreaks. There are so many times I want to quit them, ignore them, hate them. But I can't, and I keep on coming back to them. Valencia isn't really my first team, but my love for them is just so immense and incomparable to my other teams.

The lines in italics explain how I fell in love with Silva. Haha! Well, it's true. I fell in love with him watching him in a Spain game. I was mesmerized with his skillz, his speed, his passing, everything. He was amazing, I was glued on to him. And then I looked at him, and ooh he's so cute. And hot. And.. Unffff. And then.. Yeah. Wow, I can't even explain how I fell in love with him coherently! The first time I ever saw him, I was hooked. Oh oh and the smile. Guh, the smile. It kills me every time, and revives me as well. It took one look and forever laid out in front of me, one smile, then I died, only to be revived by you... This song is really perfect for him, haha. He's my first La Liga crush. Whirlwind

So right now I still haven't come to terms with accepting reality and fate. Last night I was so numb, so cold, I didn't have the energy to express what I really felt. And then this morning, it began to sink in. I've been in a huge sulk all day and I snap at the littlest things. I'm too heartbroken. I want to stop caring, I want to quit them, I want to hate them. But I can't. I love Valencia too much.

This morning, Ali was telling me that I at least had one team who isn't fail. True that, I'm happy with United. But it's not the same, and it will never console me. I want my Valencia to be okay, to be whole. I want the team I fell in love with. Argh. But seeing them fail in the most important matches really makes me want to hate them. They can fight and even win against big clubs - hello Barca and RM. But when the games are so important, what happens? They don't even try. But still, I love them so much.

So not being in the CL next year means goodbye to a lot of players. I'm slowly accepting the fact that they will leave. I don't want to see any of them in RM or in Barca. I just wish they'd go to a club where they can play their full potential and not waste their great talent away. They deserve so much better. There's still this part of me that continues to hope that they will stay, but...

And tonight, this little comment I found from vcf_fangirls just made me burst into tears again.

Valencia 3-0 Real Madrid

The boys were so amazing last night. Even the defence. I have no other words.

I am so proud of them all, but most especially, of my bb Silva. Everyone knows how much I love this man. I cannot even explain how much. He was so amazing last night. I'm just so proud of him, not only for last night, but for every game that he plays, for how hard he trains, and just for being himself. He just makes me so happy. And seeing how he played last night, with all his passes, crosses, attempts and his goal, it just makes my heart burst with pride and joy. :)

He's going to be out for the next game because he received his 5th amarilla. :( Also, he picked up an injury. I saw him during the first half, something in his right thigh was bothering him, he kept wincing and touching it and all. I thought it was a pulled hamstring. By the second half, he couldn't take it anymore and got subbed. :( They say it's a groin strain. (I had nothing to do with it, I promise! :P) They also say that this might prevent him from playing the last remaining games because of this. Please, no :( Please be ok, bb. We need you. I need you!

Argh

It's been a long time since I had a proper rant, and I usually keep these things to myself but this time it just ticked me off so bad.

It really really really REALLY pisses me off to see/hear/read about 'fans' claiming or pretending to be PROPER fans. They think they know a lot about the club, about the players, how they play, etc. etc. But no, they don't! They even have the nerve to call the boys THEIR boys... Right. They don't even know who's who in the effing team, FFS. They don't even know the match scheds! Is that a proper fan? Is that even a fan at all?!

I know I haven't been supporting Valencia for so long but dammit, I know so much about them, more than these 'fans' know. I don't just fangirl over the boys, I fangirl over their skillz and their abilities and I do not fangirl over individual players. I do have my favorites of course, but I support and fangirl over the whole effing team. No matter how much they break my heart at times, I still stick by them and love them with all my heart. I support the team not only because they're pretty (they are, too much, but that's just an added bonus lol), but because they're Valencia and they're bloody amazing.

Also, it doesn't piss me off so much if it was someone I didn't know. I'd just ignore them. But this particular one I do know, and it makes my blood boil so much!

Arrrrghhhh I'm going to rip my hair out if I hear one more thing from these people.

Hopeful

I was supposed to blog about some other things, but right now all I can think about is this particular thing that I really, really, really want. I don't think I've ever wanted something like this in so long (ok there are a lot of others but this one is the most likely one to be granted as of late). And I won't be able to sleep - haha, as if I sleep - unless I know the outcome of this decision.

God, please please please grant me this. I've been a real good girl, and I think pretty much everyone can attest to that. Dear Lord, please, I am praying.

That's me with three of my friends there (Maan, Vianca and Ruthie). This was taken one day when we all ditched uni to go watch a movie, waste money on these photo stickers and I don't really remember what else, basically we all just got away and had fun.

Anyway, I showed this photo to Nandia before. I asked her to guess how old we were when this pic was taken. She said that the rest of the girls looked 17, 18ish, while I looked... 11.

Seriousy? Do I really look like an 11-year-old? Do you agree?

She got that right, btw. We were all 17 that time. Well, she got the ages right except for me, haha.
